Rhubarb Strawberry Sauce
Rhubarb Strawberry Sauce

Ingredients:
2 C Fresh rhubarb, chopped
2 C Fresh strawberries, stem removed, chopped
2 C Water
1-1/2 C Sugar
1 Lemon zest and juice
Extra:
Blue Rhino Cast Iron Skillet
Directions:
Light the grill's side burner.
Place a Cast Iron Skillet over high heat.
Add the rhubarb, strawberries, sugar, water, lemon juice and zest and bring to a boil.
Once boiling, reduce to low and simmer for an additional 20 minutes, until the rhubarb is tender and soft and the sauce has reduced down to half.
Once done, using
Blue Rhino Insulated Gloves
remove from the heat and allow the sauce to cool.
Place in decorative sauce serving vessel and place alongside or on top of the pancakes.
