Ingredients:
2 racks Pork Baby Back Ribs, silverskin/membrane removed
2 bottle Open Pit BBQ Sauce (Or other sauce)
TIP: this is the 'secret' - amazing taste with a little bit of 'bite'
1 cup Molasses
8 cloves Garlic, minced
2 tsp Pepper
1/2 cup Mustard
1 cup Ketchup
Large container that can hold the ribs
Directions:
In a large bowl, mix 1/2 of all sauce ingredients to taste (this will be the marinade).
Note: Open Pit has some 'bite' to it, so judge your ketchup and molasses accordingly.
Place the ribs in the container, top with sauce. Make sure coat all the ribs.
Place the container in the refridgerator and marinade overnight. Turn the container occasionally.
Preheat grill to medium heat (275-300ºF).
Note: Discard the marinade that used in the containers.
Mix a fresh batch of the marinade, this will be used for grilling.
Note: Yes, it's lots of work; but worth it.
Place ribs on the grill, bone sdie down. Get a little char, then turn over and repeat.
Turn and marinate ribs every 15 - 20 minutes for about 1 - 1-1/2 hours, until done.
Remove from the grill, cover with aluminum foil and let stand for 10 minutes.
The meat should come off the bone easily, but doesn't fall off. Firm, but tender to eat. Juicy and amazingly rich.
Serve and enjoy.
