Ingredients:
1 (8 oz) Block cream cheese, softened
1 Large green Chile peppers, diced
1 Cup Shredded cheese
1 Tbsp Chile powder
2 Tbsp BBQ Rub
1 lb. Sausage, Smoked
1 lb. Thick-cut Bacon
Toothpicks
Directions:
Preheat grill to medium-high (350ºF).
In a large bowl, mix together cream cheese, chiles, shredded cheese, chili powder and BBQ Rub thoroughly. Set aside.
Slice sausage into 1/2-inch slices.
Cut bacon strips in half.
Wrap bacon around the sausage, creating a bowl and secure with a toothpick.
Fill the bacon bowl with the cream cheese mixture. Top with more BBQ Rub.
Place the pork shots on the grill until the bacon is crispy and golden brown, about 45 to 60 minutes.
Note: Depending on your grill, you may need to place the pork shots on a
barbecue sheet.
Remove the pork shots from the grill and cool for 10 minutes.
CAUTION: The cream cheese may still be hot.
Serve and enjoy.
